James Brown

James is a Symbolic Systems master's student. His research interests include the effects of virtual environments on an individual's beliefs and perceptions of reality. His previous work explores misinformation dissemination in virtual reality and the different affordances that influence human cognition. Before VHIL, he was an Information Operations officer in the United States military, received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and his MBA from Stanford University.
