Tara Srirangarajan is a Ph.D. student in Psychology at Stanford University. She uses interdisciplinary experimental approaches including virtual reality, psychophysiology, and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to study how our emotions influence the decisions we make. She received her B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience from Northeastern University in 2018. Before starting graduate school, she worked as a Research Coordinator at the Symbiotic Project on Affective Neuroscience at Stanford, where she bridged her experience in neuroimaging and decision science with real-world applications.
