About Us

The Virtual Human Interaction Lab (VHIL) was founded in 2003 by Jeremy Bailenson, Thomas More Storke Professor of Communication at Stanford University. The lab conducts research for the Communication Department.

How to find us:

The lab is at the end of Palm Drive on Stanford Campus, in the Main Quad. As you approach the quad from the top of the oval at the end of Palm Drive, McClatchy Hall is the first building facing front, left of center. After entering the building, take the hallway to the left then take the elevator to the fourth floor. The entrance to the lab is through the glass doors directly outside of the elevator, room 411.
